Smelly rooms and inefficient staff, definitely not worth the price!
ROOMS SMELL MOLDY
No hot water in the villas
Staff doesn’t speak good English and forgets half of the breakfast orders
All in all the whole location looks very nice at a first glance but for a five star hotel we expected excellent service and we got moldy rooms and staff that doesn’t have customers well being as first priority and instead wants to discuss about the size of the bed and the smell in the rooms, in Bali we got a lot better hotels for less money

A place to discover absolutely

Ideal stop between the north and the south of Bali. The cuisine is excellent . The landscape is splendid. The staff are very friendly. The villas are amazing

Very well for one night.
There is a store around the corner. A can of coke costs 6k. Not 55k as in the minibar. I will never understand this, why hotels still do this.
Everything was great. It was a bit unexpected, i would never expect a resort like this in this area. The view is great. The staff was very friendly. And the food was very delicious. But not many people are around at this time of the year. I felt a bit lost in the big resort. Its not season.

The hotel is not totally finished, so still some working going on around the hotel. But that did not disturb us. Yet it should be pointed out that there are some small details in our rooms are not perfect, the water tap in the toilette is not straight and not fit to the basin. The floor in the shower is dirty all the time and can not easily be cleaned.
The mountain and rice field view from almost all the rooms are simply amazing and breathtaking! Every morning we just opened the curtain, and voila! It was also my birthday when we arrived at the hotel. We received a warm birthday congratulation, then in the evening, there's also a birthday cake waiting for me in our room. It was really a big surprise and so heart warming! The everyday program organised by the hotel everyday was really nice. We participated the nature trail one, and learned a lot about the local plants and herbs.

There is unpleasant odor on the pillows and blanket. Moreover, it takes time too long during check out progress.

If we visit again we will also try out the spa
We booked a room expecting a bathtub and there was not, this was not clear on booking.com or the Grand Tulip site.

As a woman traveling solo I can not recommend this property to other women traveling alone.
There was an employee who made me very uncomfortable by staring at me, knowing my length of stay,etc.
One of his employees in the restaurant asked if my husband was in my room. There was a drone one morning that hovered in front of my balcony while I was eating breakfast. Returning to my room at night was uncomfortable. I was moved to a room closer to dining but had to breathe paint fumes as the hallway was being painted.

Certainly not 5 star hotel.
Horrible smell in the room and corridor. The smell came from the drain in the bathroom and you could not get rid of it. We kept balcony door open at all times and still it did not help. Very bad morning room service: was not done till 16:00 at times. No attention to detail.

It was a nice holiday experience
It took so much time to go to the city, but it was worth it
